A natural exfoliating scrub that polishes away dead skin cells and helps lift the look of surface congestion without leaving skin feeling tight or stripped. Walnut Shell provides a clean, satisfying polish, while nourishing oils and botanicals keep skin soft, cushioned, and comfortable.
• All skin types (adjust frequency to suit your skin)
• Skin that feels dull, congested, or rough to the touch
• Anyone wanting natural glow without harsh scrubbing
• Especially supportive for Kapha and Vata skin types (Ayurvedic lens)
Created for skin that feels dull, rough, or “not as fresh as it should” - when you want a real polish without harsh scrubbing. With regular use, you may notice:
• Dead skin and surface build-up lift away for a smoother-looking texture
• The look of pores and blackhead-prone areas feels more refined over time
• Skin feels soft and nourished after rinsing - not dry or tight
• A brighter, fresher-looking complexion with a visible glow
• Crafted from natural ingredients, free from harsh chemicals - for peace of mind and skin that feels cared for
Skin renews itself, but dead cells can cling and build up - leaving texture rough, tone flat, and products less smooth on the skin. A gentle polish helps lift that top layer so skin looks fresher and feels more receptive to hydration.
Walnut Shell provides a clean, satisfying exfoliation to lift dullness and help refine the look of congestion. Almond Oil and Wheat Germ cushion the polish so skin stays supple, not tight. Saffron adds antioxidant support to help skin keep its clear, bright, resilient look after exfoliation.
The result is a smoother texture, a cleaner feel, and that post-scrub glow you can genuinely see.
Kashmiri Walnut Shell - In traditional Indian self-care, walnut has long been used for that “freshly polished” finish - the kind that makes skin feel instantly smoother. Here, it’s finely milled to give a satisfying scrub that helps lift dead skin and surface build-up without leaving the skin feeling scraped. Think of it as a natural polish: effective, clean, and beautifully simple.
Saffron (Kesar) - Saffron is one of Ayurveda’s most prized botanicals - not just for its rarity, but for the way it’s traditionally associated with radiance. In skincare, it’s valued for antioxidant support and for helping the complexion look brighter and more even once dull surface layers are removed. It’s the difference between skin that’s merely “scrubbed” and skin that looks softly luminous.
Almond Oil (Badam) - Almond Oil is classic Ayurvedic nourishment - light, skin-friendly, and naturally rich in vitamin E and fatty acids. In this formula, it cushions the exfoliation so the finish feels supple and comfortable, not tight. It’s what makes this scrub feel like care - not just a treatment step.
On damp skin, massage a small amount over face and neck (avoid the eye area) using gentle circular motions. Rinse well and follow with toner + moisturiser.
Start with once weekly. If your skin stays calm, increase to 2× weekly. Avoid using on irritated/broken skin or on the same day as strong exfoliating acids/retinoids.
Tip: Use the night before an event for smoother makeup and a brighter-looking finish.
Triticum vulgare (Wheat Germ) Oil, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (Almond) Oil, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea) Butter, Crocus sativus (Saffron) Extract, Juglans regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Terminalia bellirica (Bahera) Extract, Aqua (Himalayan Spring Water), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cera alba (Beeswax), Glycine soja (Soy) Lactus.
Walnut shell used as an exfoliant, removes dead cells, stimulates skin cells, and improves blood circulation. Walnut also has antibacterial and anti-ageing properties.
Kesar has rejuvenating qualities that help clear the complexion, bringing a glow and shine to the skin by cleansing the pores. Kesar is a natural skin tone brightener that can give dry, dull skin a natural glow. It also improves skin complexion, making it soft and smooth. Additionally, it has proven anti-ageing properties that can improve skin tone. Kesar is both nourishing and mildly antiseptic.
Ayurveda is the ancient healthcare system of India. It is a Sanskrit word - Ayur means 'life' or 'daily living' and Veda means 'science'. Ayurveda then is the name given to the scientific study of life, based on the eternal principle that everyone should live in a healthy & balanced state.
The ingredients used in Ayurda products are 'Wild Crafted' in the Himalayas. A harvesting technique is used where the fruit or plant part is gathered from its natural wild habitat and handpicked according to ancient techniques.
Wild Crafted is usually organic but not certified, normally because there is no certifying agency in the area where it is grown. Wild Crafted herbs are grown wild, without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. They are grown naturally in areas where the plants are native to the region.
Yes. Ayurda products are manufactured in GMP (Goods and Manufacturing Practice) registered companies. This is an internationally recognized standard for quality assurance and ethical production. These established companies (one hundred years old) are leaders in the field of Ayurveda with highly trained Ayurvedic doctors and pharmacologists working hard to produce high quality, result orientated products. We have used Palm kernel oil in some of our products which is sourced from sustainable and ethical plantations. No animal habitat is disturbed or harmed.
Yes. Ayurda products are made in India and the natural ingredients remain stable in any natural environment.
Yes! we understand emulsifiers are needed but we only use the best and the safest. To make a cream or lotion, it is necessary to use an Emulsifier. The best ones are derived from coconut or palm kernel oil. They are safe to work with and are even used in the food industry, often used as emulsifiers in the production of vegan ice creams. Unfortunately for vegans and vegetarians, most commercially used Emulsifiers which are not vegetable based are produced from pig fats, which will be absorbed from these cosmetics. Our palm kernel oils are ethically sourced and come from sustainable or fair trade plantations and no animal habitat has been harmed.
No. We use Areetha, Shikakai and the Indian Soap Nut as natural foaming agents.
Toners are an important part of your skin care regime. They help to balance the skin and also work as a transporter for whatever is applied over the top e.g. your moisturiser will be able to penetrate the superficial layer of the skin and work at a deeper level. Ayurda toners contain natural fragrances of flower and herb extracts that help calm the nerves and induce relaxation. They are easy to use and are applied in a spray mist.
When using products containing essential oils, reactivity is more likely to happen as the essences are concentrated. With Ayurda, there are no extracted essences. Instead the raw herbs are used in the production process so they are not as volatile and the skin absorbs them more gently and less reactively.
Ayurda products contain natural preservatives such as oils, beeswax, carrot seed extract and grapefruit seed extract.
Yes. The range has been developed by Dr.Ajit and Rippan Sandhu. Ayurda is the only Ayurvedic range in Australasia backed by a qualified Ayurvedic Doctor.
