Return and Refund Policy for Ayurda

At Ayurda, we are committed to delivering high-quality health supplements and skincare products that support your well-being. We value transparency and aim to provide clarity on our return and refund process, in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) and Fair Trading Act. Please review the following policies to understand your rights and responsibilities.

Policy Details

Eligibility for Return:

  • Health supplements can only be returned if they are unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of receipt.
  • Opened or used health supplements cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety reasons unless they are defective or damaged.

Conditions for Refund or Exchange:

  • If a health supplement is found to be faulty or damaged upon arrival, please notify our customer service team within 7 days of delivery with proof of purchase and photographic evidence of the issue.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Any opened or tampered products, or items returned beyond the 14-day window without prior authorization, will not be accepted.
  • This applies to all food items such as Ghee, Spice mix and ready-to-cook mixes

Change of Mind:

Process for Return or Exchange:

  1. Contact our customer service team at info@ayurda.com  with your order number, proof of purchase, and the reason for the return.
  2. Our team will provide a return authorization number and return instructions.
  3. Send the product back as instructed. After inspection, we will process your refund or exchange within 5-7 business days.

Note: Refunds are only issued to the original payment method.

  • If a product is defective, damaged, or not as described, it is eligible for return or exchange if reported within 7 days of delivery.
  • Opened products are generally non-returnable due to health and hygiene reasons unless they are defective or cause an adverse reaction.

Conditions for Refund or Exchange:

  • If you experience an allergic reaction, discontinue use and contact our customer service team within 7 days with proof of purchase and photographic evidence. We will assess your case for a potential refund or exchange.
  • Should you find yourself dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please inform us, and we will make every effort to identify the optimal solution for you. It’s important to note that no refund will be granted for changes of mind.
  • Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Used or opened skincare products that are not defective cannot be returned.
  • Items returned without authorization or beyond the 14-day window will not be accepted.

Change of Mind:

  • If you decide to return a product due to a change of mind, it must be unopened and unused. The customer will need to cover return shipping, which will be deducted from the refund amount. Please note no cash refund is provided for change of mind, you can swap the product or opt for store credit.

Process for Return or Exchange:

  1. Contact our customer service team at [email/contact form link] with your order details.
  2. Receive a return authorization and follow the return instructions provided.
  3. Upon receipt and inspection, your refund or exchange will be processed within 5-7 business days.

Validity and Expiry:

  • Ayurda gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue. It is the recipient’s responsibility to take note of the expiry date to avoid disappointment. Expired vouchers will not be honored.

Conditions of Use:

  • Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and must be used in full within the validity period. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited.
  • Extensions beyond the original validity period are only granted in exceptional circumstances approved by Ayurda’s management.

Important Notes:

  • Appointments booked using gift vouchers must be attended as scheduled. Failure to attend or no shows will result in the voucher being forfeited.

  • Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Depending on your payment provider, the time for the refund to appear in your account may vary.
  • Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
  • Damaged or Faulty Items: If you receive a damaged or faulty item, retain all packaging for inspection and contact us promptly for resolution.
