THE THREE DOSHAS WITHIN THE MARK
Three elements. Three forces. Every body.
Ayurveda holds that everything in existence - every body, every season, every moment of health and every experience of imbalance - is shaped by three fundamental forces. They are called the doshas. And our logo carries all three.
Pitta
Fire & Water
The flame - in the lines of the lotus
Look at the outer petals of the mark. Their shape is flame. Pitta governs transformation - digestion, metabolism, the fire that converts what we take in into what we become. It is the force of change, of clarity, of purpose.
Vata
Air & Space
The space - between the lines
The space between the petals is not empty. In Ayurveda, space is the element that makes movement possible. Vata - air and space - governs all movement in the body: breath, circulation, thought, creativity. It lives in what is left open.
Kapha
Earth & Water
The solid, outer lines
Kapha is the cohesive energy in the body. It smoothes out problems, lubricates and provides support when needed. It gives mental strength and resistance to disease. It gives firmness to joints while keeping them lubricated.
Kapha - provides substance and support. It gives strength and stability, both physically and psychologically. It enhances resistance to disease and promotes the healing process.
THE STORY IN FULL
Open. Restore. Renew.
Every morning, the lotus opens. Not because it is told to. Because that is its nature - to reach, to receive, to be fully present to the light that is available to it.
Every night, it closes. Not in defeat. In wisdom. The closing is as purposeful as the opening. It is the body drawing inward, consolidating, restoring what was spent, preparing for what comes next.
This is not metaphor. This is Ayurveda. The science of living in alignment with natural rhythm - honouring the body's need to move and its equal need to rest. Recognising that restoration is not the absence of activity. It is the condition that makes all activity possible.
Our logo holds this truth in every line. The flame of Pitta - the transforming fire that your supplements, your skincare, your treatments are working with, not against. The space of Vata - the breath, the movement, the intelligence that carries nourishment to every cell. The drop of Kapha - the deep, sustaining stillness at the centre that holds everything else in place.
Three forces. One body. Infinite variations. This is why Ayurveda has never offered a single answer for everyone. It does not see people as problems to be solved. It sees them as constitutions to be understood.
Whether you come to us through a consultation with Dr. Ajit, through a treatment that restores what the week has taken, or through a skincare ritual you practise alone at your bathroom mirror - you are participating in the same ancient conversation. The one the lotus has been having with the sun and the water for thousands of years.
Open. Restore. Renew.
This is what the mark means. This is what we are here for.
