What it is

A premium Ayurvedic face cream designed to reawaken skin that looks tired, dehydrated, or prematurely lined. It delivers deep nourishment and visible radiance without artificial fragrance or harsh additives, just concentrated herbal care, blended for daily use.

Who it is for

• Dry, dull, or “tired-looking” skin that needs deep nourishment
• Mature skin or early signs of ageing (fine lines, loss of radiance)
• Normal-to-dry skin types (especially Vata + Kapha tendencies, Ayurvedic lens)

Key Benefits

Crafted for skin that feels dry, dull, or prematurely tired or when you want rich nourishment and visible radiance, without harsh actives or artificial fragrance. With regular use, you may notice:

• Skin feels deeply nourished and comfortably hydrated
• A brighter, healthier-looking glow over time
• Texture looks smoother and more refined
• Fine lines appear softer as skin looks more cushioned and “plump”
• The complexion feels calmer - not overloaded

Why it works

Modern skin often gets treated like it’s misbehaving - stripped when it’s dry, over-corrected when it looks uneven, pushed through “actives” until it feels reactive. Ayurveda reads it differently: when skin loses its glow, it’s usually not because it needs more aggression — it needs more ojas (deep nourishment) and better balance. This cream is built around that idea. Saffron supports luminous tone and a healthy-looking glow. Khus (Vetiver) brings calm and comfort, helping skin feel settled rather than overwhelmed. Manjistha and Turmeric support clarity and resilience, while Black Sesame Oil and Rosewater wrap the skin in a replenishing, velvety finish. The quiet promise: skin that looks more rested, more even, and more alive - the kind of change that makes you think, “Oh… that’s what my skin has been asking for.”

Ingredient Spotlight

Saffron (Kesar) - Saffron isn’t prized because it’s rare; it’s prized because it’s powerful in small amounts. In Ayurvedic beauty tradition, Kesar is used as a radiance herb: chosen for supporting an even-looking tone and a complexion that looks quietly luminous and nourished . It’s one of those ingredients that signals “this is not basic moisturiser,” it’s care designed to bring life back to skin that looks tired.

Khus / Vetiver - traditionally, Khus is loved for its calming, grounding coolness. It’s used when skin feels overheated, reactive, or easily overwhelmed, helping the complexion feel more settled and comfortable — the opposite of “stressed skin.”

Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) - A revered botanical associated with purity and refinement. In skincare, Lotus supports a complexion that looks smooth, fresh, and more refined, especially when the surface feels rough, tired, or uneven.

How to Use

Warm a small amount between fingertips. Gently press and smooth over face, neck, and décolletage. Use morning and evening. If your skin is dry or mature, use it as your night cream for deeper renewal while you rest.

Pairs well with 24K Gold Serum for daily radiance and firmer-looking skin.

Key Functional Ingredients

Kesar/Saffron - Crocus sativus

Kesar has rejuvenating qualities that help clear the complexion, bringing a glow and shine to the skin by cleansing the pores. Kesar is a natural skin tone brightener that can give dry, dull skin a natural glow. It also improves skin complexion, making it soft and smooth. Additionally, it has proven anti-ageing properties that can improve skin tone. Kesar is both nourishing and mildly antiseptic.

Khus/Vetiver - Andropogon muricatus

Khus acts as a cooling agent, removing excess heat from the skin. They are beneficial for hyper-sensitive skin as they help tighten pores and bring a youthful glow to the skin.

The story behind this

Dry, prematurely tired skin isn’t always just “lack of moisture.” Often it’s a deeper pattern - skin that can be hydrated and still feel tight, fine lines that look louder by afternoon, dullness that doesn’t lift, and texture that feels slightly rough no matter how many serums you layer.

Modern beauty often treats dryness as a simple water problem. Ayurveda sees another layer: a Vata pattern when there’s too much dryness and movement in the system, and the skin struggles to hold steadiness and softness. This can show up at any age (busy seasons, stress, travel, over-cleansing, too many “actives,” or simply time).

The answer isn’t to punish the skin or chase stronger ingredients. It’s to rebuild nourishment and steadiness so radiance can return naturally. That’s why this cream is formula-led, not trend-led. Instead of relying on one hero vitamin, Ayurvedic skincare works through synergy herbs, oils, and botanicals chosen to support the skin together: comfort + glow + refinement, without overwhelm.

The result is a genuine return to balance skin that looks more rested, feels more supple, and carries a soft, healthy-looking luminosity that doesn’t need a spotlight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Ayurveda is the ancient healthcare system of India. It is a Sanskrit word - Ayur means 'life' or 'daily living' and Veda means 'science'. Ayurveda then is the name given to the scientific study of life, based on the eternal principle that everyone should live in a healthy & balanced state.

The ingredients used in Ayurda products are 'Wild Crafted' in the Himalayas. A harvesting technique is used where the fruit or plant part is gathered from its natural wild habitat and handpicked according to ancient techniques.

Wild Crafted is usually organic but not certified, normally because there is no certifying agency in the area where it is grown. Wild Crafted herbs are grown wild, without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. They are grown naturally in areas where the plants are native to the region.

Yes. Ayurda products are manufactured in GMP (Goods and Manufacturing Practice) registered companies. This is an internationally recognized standard for quality assurance and ethical production. These established companies (one hundred years old) are leaders in the field of Ayurveda with highly trained Ayurvedic doctors and pharmacologists working hard to produce high quality, result orientated products. We have used Palm kernel oil in some of our products which is sourced from sustainable and ethical plantations. No animal habitat is disturbed or harmed.

Yes. Ayurda products are made in India and the natural ingredients remain stable in any natural environment.

Yes! we understand emulsifiers are needed but we only use the best and the safest. To make a cream or lotion, it is necessary to use an Emulsifier. The best ones are derived from coconut or palm kernel oil. They are safe to work with and are even used in the food industry, often used as emulsifiers in the production of vegan ice creams. Unfortunately for vegans and vegetarians, most commercially used Emulsifiers which are not vegetable based are produced from pig fats, which will be absorbed from these cosmetics. Our palm kernel oils are ethically sourced and come from sustainable or fair trade plantations and no animal habitat has been harmed.

No. We use Areetha, Shikakai and the Indian Soap Nut as natural foaming agents.

Toners are an important part of your skin care regime. They help to balance the skin and also work as a transporter for whatever is applied over the top e.g. your moisturiser will be able to penetrate the superficial layer of the skin and work at a deeper level. Ayurda toners contain natural fragrances of flower and herb extracts that help calm the nerves and induce relaxation. They are easy to use and are applied in a spray mist.

When using products containing essential oils, reactivity is more likely to happen as the essences are concentrated. With Ayurda, there are no extracted essences. Instead the raw herbs are used in the production process so they are not as volatile and the skin absorbs them more gently and less reactively.

Ayurda products contain natural preservatives such as oils, beeswax, carrot seed extract and grapefruit seed extract.

Yes. The range has been developed by Dr.Ajit and Rippan Sandhu. Ayurda is the only Ayurvedic range in Australasia backed by a qualified Ayurvedic Doctor.

The shelf life is 12 months after opening, but can last anywhere up to 24 months.
