What it is

A light, refreshing cleanser that gently removes impurities, excess oil, and makeup without disturbing your skin’s natural balance. Cooling Cucumber and purifying Basil work together to clarify and refresh, while Aloe Vera and Neem provide calm, lasting comfort. The result is skin that feels clean, soft, and revitalised never tight or dry.

Who it is for

• Oily to combination skin types
• Especially supportive for Pitta skin (Ayurvedic principles)
• Suitable for teen skin and skin prone to visible breakouts or redness
• Anyone who wants a cleanser that leaves skin feeling fresh, balanced, and comfortable

Key Benefits

Created for skin that wants clarity and freshness without the tight, stripped feeling. With regular use, you may notice:

• Excess oil and daily build-up lift away without drying
• Skin looks clearer and feels more balanced over time
• A cooler, fresher feel - especially when skin feels “hot” or overactive
• Fewer congested areas and a more refined-looking surface
• Free from harsh chemicals, for peace of mind

Why it works

Many cleansers designed for oily or acne-prone skin strip away too much, leaving the skin irritated or unbalanced. This formula works differently. Cucumber hydrates and cools, Basil helps to prevent blemishes with its natural purifying properties, and Neem supports clarity with gentle antibacterial care. Aloe Vera restores moisture, while Almond and Grape Seed oils add light nourishment, ensuring your skin feels fresh and comfortable after every cleanse.

Ingredient Spotlight

Cucumber - valued for its cooling, water-rich comfort. Helps skin feel refreshed and less “hot,” while supporting a softer, more revitalised look after cleansing.

Basil (Tulsi family / Ocimum basilicum) - traditionally used for its purifying nature. Helps support clear-looking skin when congestion and excess oil are concerns.

Aloe Vera - known for soothing, cushioning hydration. Helps keep the cleanse comfortable so skin feels calm and balanced, not tight.

How to Use

Massage a small amount onto damp face and neck using gentle circular movements, focusing on the T-zone or areas with excess oil. Rinse with lukewarm water or remove with a damp, soft face cloth. Use morning and evening, then follow with toner and moisturiser.

Ingredients

Ocimum basilicum (Basil) Extract, Cucumis sativus (Cucumber) Extract, Cera alba (Beeswax), Theobroma cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract, Azadirachta indica (Neem) Seed Oil, Glycine soja (Soy) Lactus, Vitis vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Glyceryl monostearate (Plant-derived, non-palm), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Aqua (Himalayan Spring Water).

Key Functional Ingredients

Cucumber - Cucumis sativus

Cucumber revitalises and tones the skin, reducing puffiness under the eyes, treating open pores, and rejuvenating the skin. It also reduces dark circles and hydrates deeply.

Tulsi/Holy Basil - Ocimum sanctum

Tulsi is light, warm and pungent. In Sanskrit Tulsi means simply that no other plant stand in comparison. One of the best-known antioxidants because of its high polyphenol content helping to fight free radical damage. According to Ayurveda it is useful in all skin disorders (Pacifies Kapha/Vata).

The story behind this

Most women don’t struggle with “cleansing problem”. They struggle with skin that feels tight after cleansing, becomes oily by midday, looks dull when tired, or feels unsettled when life gets busy.

Modern cleansers often treat skin as something to strip and reset each day. Ayurveda has always understood something different: skin responds to how we live - and the surface reflects that rhythm. That’s why this cleanser was created to work with your skin, not against it.

It cleans thoroughly, but never aggressively. It removes what your skin no longer needs, while protecting what keeps it calm, balanced, and comfortable. The result isn’t just clean skin - it’s skin that feels respected, steady, and quietly refreshed after every wash.

Ayurveda, practiced as intelligent skincare.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Ayurveda is the ancient healthcare system of India. It is a Sanskrit word - Ayur means 'life' or 'daily living' and Veda means 'science'. Ayurveda then is the name given to the scientific study of life, based on the eternal principle that everyone should live in a healthy & balanced state.

The ingredients used in Ayurda products are 'Wild Crafted' in the Himalayas. A harvesting technique is used where the fruit or plant part is gathered from its natural wild habitat and handpicked according to ancient techniques.

Wild Crafted is usually organic but not certified, normally because there is no certifying agency in the area where it is grown. Wild Crafted herbs are grown wild, without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. They are grown naturally in areas where the plants are native to the region.

Yes. Ayurda products are manufactured in GMP (Goods and Manufacturing Practice) registered companies. This is an internationally recognized standard for quality assurance and ethical production. These established companies (one hundred years old) are leaders in the field of Ayurveda with highly trained Ayurvedic doctors and pharmacologists working hard to produce high quality, result orientated products. We have used Palm kernel oil in some of our products which is sourced from sustainable and ethical plantations. No animal habitat is disturbed or harmed.

Yes. Ayurda products are made in India and the natural ingredients remain stable in any natural environment.

Yes! we understand emulsifiers are needed but we only use the best and the safest. To make a cream or lotion, it is necessary to use an Emulsifier. The best ones are derived from coconut or palm kernel oil. They are safe to work with and are even used in the food industry, often used as emulsifiers in the production of vegan ice creams. Unfortunately for vegans and vegetarians, most commercially used Emulsifiers which are not vegetable based are produced from pig fats, which will be absorbed from these cosmetics. Our palm kernel oils are ethically sourced and come from sustainable or fair trade plantations and no animal habitat has been harmed.

No. We use Areetha, Shikakai and the Indian Soap Nut as natural foaming agents.

Toners are an important part of your skin care regime. They help to balance the skin and also work as a transporter for whatever is applied over the top e.g. your moisturiser will be able to penetrate the superficial layer of the skin and work at a deeper level. Ayurda toners contain natural fragrances of flower and herb extracts that help calm the nerves and induce relaxation. They are easy to use and are applied in a spray mist.

When using products containing essential oils, reactivity is more likely to happen as the essences are concentrated. With Ayurda, there are no extracted essences. Instead the raw herbs are used in the production process so they are not as volatile and the skin absorbs them more gently and less reactively.

Ayurda products contain natural preservatives such as oils, beeswax, carrot seed extract and grapefruit seed extract.

Yes. The range has been developed by Dr.Ajit and Rippan Sandhu. Ayurda is the only Ayurvedic range in Australasia backed by a qualified Ayurvedic Doctor.

The shelf life is 12 months after opening, but can last anywhere up to 24 months.
