What it is

When skin feels tired, lined, or lacking radiance, Nourishing Cream offers a natural answer. More than a moisturiser, this Ayurvedic “skin food” is designed to plump, hydrate, and refresh the look of skin. Crafted in small batches, it draws on timeless botanicals to restore balance and leave your skin looking and feeling soft, calm, and luminous.

Who it is for

This cream is perfect if:
• Skin that feels dry, depleted, or tight
• Fine lines that appear more visible when the skin is tired
• Complexions craving comfort and quiet radiance
• Suitable for all skin types; especially supportive for Pitta and Kapha

Why it works

Ayurveda teaches that outer beauty reflects inner harmony. This cream blends oils and herbs known for their rejuvenating properties: Sandalwood cools and soothes irritation, Almond oil nourishes and softens with essential vitamins, and Saffron brightens and protects as one of Ayurveda’s most prized botanicals. Together they hydrate, support cell renewal, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, giving your skin the resilience it deserves.

How to Use

As part of your evening self-care ritual, warm a small amount between fingertips and gently press into the face, neck, and décolletage.

Apply at least 1 hour before bed so the botanicals can be absorbed by your skin - not your pillow. In the morning, apply lightly before SPF if extra nourishment is needed.

Key Functional Ingredients

Chandan/Sandalwood - Santalum album

Sandalwood oil's main constituent is santalol. Not only does sandalwood soothe the skin and heal inflammatory conditions, but also has anti-ageing and rejuvenating effects. It is ideal for all skin types. Sandalwood protects the skin from the effects of pollutants, sun-exposure, dehydration and skin sensitivity.

Jaiphal/Nutmeg - Myristica fragrans

Jaiphal is known for its aphrodisiac, stimulant, analgesic, carminative and appetiser qualities. It also has properties which are helpful for heart and lung health, is a natural detoxifier, and is helpful for low sperm count. In Ayurveda, Nutmeg has energetics which are bitter and pungent, is hot in potency, has a pungent post-digestive effect (PDE), has light and sharp qualities, and helps to balance Kapha and Vata.

The story behind this

Modern skin isn’t short of products it’s short of recovery. Long days, late nights, screens, stress, and over-cleansing slowly drain the skin’s reserves. Ayurveda approaches this differently. Instead of pushing the skin harder, it focuses on restoring what’s been used up. Nourishing Cream was created for that moment of return - when skin needs to be soothed, replenished, and allowed to reset. Not rushed. Not forced. Just deeply supported.

The kind of care that makes you think, “This feels like what my skin has been asking for.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Ayurveda is the ancient healthcare system of India. It is a Sanskrit word - Ayur means 'life' or 'daily living' and Veda means 'science'. Ayurveda then is the name given to the scientific study of life, based on the eternal principle that everyone should live in a healthy & balanced state.

The ingredients used in Ayurda products are 'Wild Crafted' in the Himalayas. A harvesting technique is used where the fruit or plant part is gathered from its natural wild habitat and handpicked according to ancient techniques.

Wild Crafted is usually organic but not certified, normally because there is no certifying agency in the area where it is grown. Wild Crafted herbs are grown wild, without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. They are grown naturally in areas where the plants are native to the region.

Yes. Ayurda products are manufactured in GMP (Goods and Manufacturing Practice) registered companies. This is an internationally recognized standard for quality assurance and ethical production. These established companies (one hundred years old) are leaders in the field of Ayurveda with highly trained Ayurvedic doctors and pharmacologists working hard to produce high quality, result orientated products. We have used Palm kernel oil in some of our products which is sourced from sustainable and ethical plantations. No animal habitat is disturbed or harmed.

Yes. Ayurda products are made in India and the natural ingredients remain stable in any natural environment.

Yes! we understand emulsifiers are needed but we only use the best and the safest. To make a cream or lotion, it is necessary to use an Emulsifier. The best ones are derived from coconut or palm kernel oil. They are safe to work with and are even used in the food industry, often used as emulsifiers in the production of vegan ice creams. Unfortunately for vegans and vegetarians, most commercially used Emulsifiers which are not vegetable based are produced from pig fats, which will be absorbed from these cosmetics. Our palm kernel oils are ethically sourced and come from sustainable or fair trade plantations and no animal habitat has been harmed.

No. We use Areetha, Shikakai and the Indian Soap Nut as natural foaming agents.

Toners are an important part of your skin care regime. They help to balance the skin and also work as a transporter for whatever is applied over the top e.g. your moisturiser will be able to penetrate the superficial layer of the skin and work at a deeper level. Ayurda toners contain natural fragrances of flower and herb extracts that help calm the nerves and induce relaxation. They are easy to use and are applied in a spray mist.

When using products containing essential oils, reactivity is more likely to happen as the essences are concentrated. With Ayurda, there are no extracted essences. Instead the raw herbs are used in the production process so they are not as volatile and the skin absorbs them more gently and less reactively.

Ayurda products contain natural preservatives such as oils, beeswax, carrot seed extract and grapefruit seed extract.

Yes. The range has been developed by Dr.Ajit and Rippan Sandhu. Ayurda is the only Ayurvedic range in Australasia backed by a qualified Ayurvedic Doctor.

The shelf life is 12 months after opening, but can last anywhere up to 24 months.
