What It Is

An oil-and-cleanse ritual created specifically for hair that feels dry, rough, brittle or depleted. Grow & Repair Hair Oil with Bhringraj, Amla and Hibiscus provides the pre-wash nourishment the hair needs most. Sanjivani Hair Cleanser, with Amla and Bhringraj, is free from sulphates and harsh synthetic foaming agents, cleansing while respecting hair that already needs more moisture and care rather than less.

Why These Two Belong Together

Dry or fragile hair can enter a frustrating cycle: repeated cleansing, heat styling and chemical processing can leave it feeling progressively rougher, drier and more vulnerable to breakage. This pairing changes the order of care. The oil comes first, nourishing the scalp, roots, and lengths. Sanjivani then gently removes excess oil and buildup with Amla, Bhringraj, and traditional cleansing botanicals, chosen for hair that needs resilience, softness, and vitality rather than another aggressive wash. Instead of cleansing first and trying to replace everything afterward, you nourish before you take away.

Key Benefits

With regular use, you may notice:

• Dry, rough hair feels softer and more manageable.
• Hair feels stronger and less fragile through the lengths.
• Reduced breakage from dryness.
• Improved natural shine and smoother-looking texture.
• Scalp and roots feel consistently nourished rather than depleted after washing.

Who It’s For

Best for dry, brittle, rough, dull or damaged-looking hair - particularly when the hair feels depleted and breaks easily. Especially suited to hair affected by frequent heat styling, colour treatments, chemical processing or repeated cleansing that has left it feeling drier and less resilient. Also suited to hair that has simply lost softness, vitality or natural shine and needs a more nourishing approach to regular cleansing.

The Story Behind This

We often treat dry hair from the outside in. More conditioner. A heat protection spray. Something to smooth the ends after styling. Yet underneath all of it, the hair can still feel progressively drier, rougher and more depleted. Ayurveda asks a different question: what if nourishment came before the wash? In traditional Indian hair care, oiling was never an emergency treatment for damaged hair. It was part of maintaining it, a way of protecting the hair before it was exposed to water and cleansing. The scalp was nourished. The lengths were protected. Then the hair was cleansed. Today, most people have reversed that order entirely and the hair shows it. Heat styling, colour, environmental exposure and frequent cleansing place daily demands on hair that is rarely given anything restorative in return. Sanjivani and Grow & Repair return to that simple intelligence. Bhringraj, Amla and Hibiscus begin the nourishment before washing.

Sanjivani follows with a gentle, sulfate-free cleanse formulated with Amla and Bhringraj. Designed for hair that does not need anything more taken away.

The change is not immediate. But with consistency, most people notice hair that feels softer, stronger and genuinely different to anything a conditioner alone has produced.

How to Use

Once or twice weekly, massage Grow & Repair Hair Oil generously into the scalp and roots, then work a small amount through dry or brittle lengths. Leave for at least 30–60 minutes, or longer if preferred.

Wet the hair thoroughly and cleanse with Sanjivani Hair Cleanser, concentrating first on the scalp and allowing the cleanser to run gently through the lengths. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat lightly if needed to remove excess oil. Use Sanjivani between oil treatments whenever your hair needs cleansing.

For depleted hair, regular nourishment will do more than an occasional rescue treatment.

Key Functional Ingredients

Amalaki - Phyllanthus emblica

Amalaki is one of nature’s richest sources of natural vitamin C, known for its anti-aging qualities as well as being an excellent rejuvenator. Amalaki enhances the function of all bodily systems, making it one of the best herbs for boosting immunity. In Ayurveda, Amalaki has energetics with five tastes (sweet, sour, pungent, bitter and astringent) - all except salty and sour being the most dominant. It has a cold potency, and a sweet post-digestive effect (PDE), with heavy and cool qualities. Amalaki balances all three doshas.

Bhringraj - Eclipta alba

Bhringraj helps to shrink hair follicles and prevents hair loss.

Ayurvedic Insight

Ayurveda teaches that hair is the "upadhatu" (tissue-by-product) of our deeper nourishment; dry hair is a signal that the system needs replenishing. This bundle honors that philosophy by treating the scalp as a living foundation. Through the ritual of Shiro Abhyanga (head oiling) followed by gentle cleansing, we don't just scrub the surface - we signal the nervous system to soften and the follicles to receive strength, returning the hair to its natural state of vitality.

When using products containing essential oils, reactivity is more likely to happen as the essences are concentrated. With Ayurda, there are no extracted essences. Instead the raw herbs are used in the production process so they are not as volatile and the skin absorbs them more gently and less reactively.

Ayurda products contain natural preservatives such as oils, beeswax, carrot seed extract and grapefruit seed extract.

The central principle of Ayurveda is that each human being has the right to live a healthy & fulfilled life (dharma), however, because of our unique body constitution, genetic inheritance and unhealthy diet & lifestyle choices, we are predisposed to certain diseases and health concerns.

Some people feel clearer and more confident immediately because they finally understand what’s going on. Results vary based on the chronicity and depth of the imbalance. You can often feel a shift in energy, digestion, and sleep within the first 2–4 weeks of consistently applying the recommendations. Deeper, long-term conditions may require a commitment of several months.

No. Ayurveda is a root-cause approach. Results depend on consistency, and the most meaningful changes come from steady daily practice.
