Detail

This hair oil is based on a traditional Ayurvedic approach to hair fall: first, care for the scalp and roots. Bhringraj (often called the “king of hair” in Ayurveda) is used to support healthy growth and help reduce excessive shedding. Amla is valued for strengthening and fortifying the hair follicles, while Hibiscus is used to condition, add softness, and support natural shine. The formula is deliberately lightweight, so it can be used weekly without leaving the hair feeling heavy or greasy after proper washing.

Consistent use over three to six months is recommended not as a quick-fix miracle, but as a steady, root-focused ritual to support fuller, stronger, more resilient hair.

What This Product Does

• Nourishes the scalp and roots with a blend of traditional Ayurvedic botanicals.

• Supports reduction in hair fall due to dryness, heat and scalp imbalance.

• Helps improve the look of thinning hair by caring for the follicles and scalp environment.

• Conditions and softens the lengths of the hair, helping it look shinier and feel less brittle.

• Provides a weekly pre-wash ritual that reconnects you with your hair and scalp in a calm, deliberate way.

Key Benefits

• A go-to oil when you notice more hair on the pillow, in the brush, or in the shower drain.

• Helps hair feel stronger at the roots and softer through the lengths.

• Over time, it can support the look of fuller, healthier hair rather than fine, depleted strands.

• Lightweight enough to use weekly as a pre-wash treatment without leaving a heavy residue when washed out well.

• Feels like a meaningful self-care step rather than another “product”, a small, consistent way of looking after your hair story.

Who It’s For

This oil may be a good fit if you:

• Are you noticing increased hair fall or thinning, whether from stress, life stage, or over-styling?

• Have a dry, tired, or sensitive scalp that needs gentle, nourishing support.

• Use colour, heat, or tight styles and want to give the roots extra care.

 • Prefer a traditional herbal formula to support regrowth rather than synthetic tonics alone.

 • Are ready to commit to a simple weekly ritual for three to six months for gradual, lasting results.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. For external use only.

How to Use

Always warm the oil slightly before use

place the closed bottle in a mug of hot water for a few minutes. Do not microwave.

1. Prep the scalp

Part dry hair into sections and apply the oil directly to the scalp and roots.

2. Massage

Using your fingertips, massage the scalp in small circular motions for 10-15 minutes to stimulate circulation and help the oil absorb.

3. Lengths: Smooth any remaining oil lightly through the mid-lengths and ends.

4. Leave

Leave on for at least 30 minutes; for deeper nourishment, you can leave it for a few hours or overnight, protecting your pillow with a towel.

5. Wash out

Shampoo thoroughly with a mild, sulfate-free cleanser; you may need to shampoo twice to remove all oil.

Use once or twice a week as part of your hair-care ritual.

For external use only. Do not use if the tamper-evident seal is missing, torn or broken. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight.

Ingredients

Each 5ml contains: Seasum indicum 4ml, Hibiscus rosasinesis 10mg, Phyllanthus emblica 5mg, Terminalia chebula 5mg, Eclipta alba, Wedelia chinesis 3mg, Nelumbium nucifera 1mg, Rosa centifolia 1mg, Symplocos recemosa 1mg.

Key Functional Ingredients

Bhringraj - Eclipta alba

Bhringraj helps to shrink hair follicles and prevents hair loss.

Amalaki - Phyllanthus emblica

Amalaki is one of nature’s richest sources of natural vitamin C, known for its anti-aging qualities as well as being an excellent rejuvenator. Amalaki enhances the function of all bodily systems, making it one of the best herbs for boosting immunity. In Ayurveda, Amalaki has energetics with five tastes (sweet, sour, pungent, bitter and astringent) - all except salty and sour being the most dominant. It has a cold potency, and a sweet post-digestive effect (PDE), with heavy and cool qualities. Amalaki balances all three doshas.

Gudha/Hibiscus - Hibiscus roasinensis

Gudha is a cooling agent and skin toner. It’s a natural Botox plant with high anti-ageing properties and a high source of alpha-hydroxy acids, making it a great skin moisturiser. These act as natural conditioners, softening the hair and reducing roughness and dryness.

Ayurvedic Insight

In Ayurveda, healthy hair is seen as a reflection of deeper nourishment of the scalp, the nervous system, and even the bones. Stress, overwork, poor sleep, excess heat in the head, and a diet that doesn’t truly replenish can all show up first in the hair: more shedding, thinning, dryness, or early loss of colour.

Traditional practice responds with Shiro Abhyanga – regular oiling of the head and scalp. Oils like Bhringraj and Amla are prized for their “keshya” (hair-supporting) qualities, while a sesame base offers gentle warmth and stability. Rather than chasing instant results, this weekly ritual is about quietly restoring balance at the roots – cooling an overheated scalp, nourishing tired follicles, and giving the nervous system a signal to soften. Over time, many people notice not just changes in their hair but a deeper sense of calm when they build this into their routine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Ayurveda is the ancient healthcare system of India. It is a Sanskrit word - Ayur means 'life' or 'daily living' and Veda means 'science'. Ayurveda then is the name given to the scientific study of life, based on the eternal principle that everyone should live in a healthy & balanced state.

The central principle of Ayurveda is that each human being has the right to live a healthy & fulfilled life (dharma), however, because of our unique body constitution, genetic inheritance and unhealthy diet & lifestyle choices, we are predisposed to certain diseases and health concerns.

Modern medicine treats symptomatically rather than looking to the root cause of the problem. This stems from the view that all people are more or less the same. Ayurveda’s special contribution is healing the cause of the symptoms by considering the uniqueness of each patient and by helping each body to heal itself.

Ayurveda has perfected healing treatments and herbal preparations to keep the physical, mental and emotional health of a person in its prime throughout life. It is contrary to the current practice of waiting until symptoms appear before getting medical help or only seeking treatment when a disease manifests.

No. In fact, there are some Ayurvedic preparations that use animal products to treat specific ailments. However, Ayurveda recognises that meat is very heavy and the stomach struggles to digest it properly. Without the addition of particular kitchen herbs to aid digestion, this undigested food can become toxic, leading to many health problems.

Also, because meat is heavy it is considered Tamasic, the qualities of which can dull the mind, making it sluggish & heavy. Ayurveda believes that a heavy & dull mind is unable to make good choices for us, which again can be the cause of many ailments.

No. While it is true that many Ayurvedic recipes use Indian ingredients, you are not required to only eat Indian food. Ayurveda gives you the understanding of the role digestion and nutrition play in creating a healthy life and how food can be used as a medicine to treat illness. This awareness can be applied to all foods. However, it is true that Ayurveda considers many of the heavily processed foods in our Western diet to be detrimental to our digestion and good health.

• Traditional Ayurvedic products target the root cause of all illness rather than treating the symptoms of disease.

• Authentic Ayurvedic products will only be a combination of pure herbs & minerals and will never contain synthetic vitamins and other substances.

• Traditional Ayurvedic products while helping to dislodge toxins from deep tissue will also assist in the rejuvenation of that tissue.

• Ayurvedic products will help to revive the intelligence to that particular system/organ or tissue that has been affected by the build up of toxins. Once all the toxins have been eliminated one doesn’t need to keep taking these products.

Ayurveda has a simple treatment plan:

• Stop the further accumulation of toxins in the body by improving digestion. Food is then “cooked” properly, preventing the build up of toxins.
• Remove accumulated toxins from the body through herbal preparations and specific Ayurvedic treatments like massage.
• Nourish the depleted tissues through diet, herbal preparations & lifestyle changes.

• Ayurveda is based on the subjective understanding of the body.

• Ayurveda aims to improve the wellbeing of everybody and does not belong to a particular country or religion.

• Treatment is based on the individual as a whole.

• It is a much more systematic & holistic approach to achieve perfect balance between mind, body & soul.

• Whatever is present in the universe, Ayurveda recognises as also being present in the human body.

• The Universe according to Ayurveda is composed of the five great elements - Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth (Known as Panchmahabhuta).

• These elements are responsible for all the living and nonliving substances in this universe.

• The human body is also composed of the five great elements

• Man is said to be the microcosm of this macrocosm

• These elements are recognised in the form of three Doshas or biological humours - Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

• The three Doshas are the intelligences behind each and every function that occurs in the body:

Air & Ether = Vata

Fire & Water = Pitta

Earth & Water = Kapha

• The Doshas govern the psycho-biological and physio-pathological changes in the body.

• Vata, Pitta and Kapha can be found in every body cell, tissue and organ.

• The level of each Dosha varies from person to person which ultimately determines an individual’s body type (Prakriti).

• It is the most eco-friendly system of medicine as it only uses materials that are natural and compatible to the body.

• Each individual has a unique bodily intelligence that has the power to keep the body in perfect health as long as this intelligence stays in balance.

• Ayurveda gives us a detailed & logical explanation of way the body, mind & soul interact.

Some people feel clearer and more confident immediately because they finally understand what’s going on. Results vary based on the chronicity and depth of the imbalance. You can often feel a shift in energy, digestion, and sleep within the first 2–4 weeks of consistently applying the recommendations. Deeper, long-term conditions may require a commitment of several months.

No. Ayurveda is a root-cause approach. Results depend on consistency, and the most meaningful changes come from steady daily practice.
